Use as a large accent shrub or small tree, especially as an understory amidst oaks, gumbo limbo, slash pines, sabals and royal palms. Also perfect for an informal screening when planted en masse. Drought tolerant once established. Little to no fertilizing needed but needs a bit of humus or organic compost when first planted.
